Freddy Parker has been the Pastor of LifeWAY since January 2013. He received Christ as his Lord when he was nine years old and made public his decision for Christ at Gaines Street Baptist Church.

Pastor Freddy graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1975. Then he graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters Of Divinity Degree in 1979. He has pastored churches in Arkansas and Alabama. He and his wife Gayla and their three sons were missionaries with the International Mission Board, SBC for almost 14 years, serving in the Philippines. Freddy and Gayla, also served with the Baptist Convention of Maryland and Delaware for 6 1/2 years, through December 2012.


Bro. Phill Wilson accepted Christ as Savior as a child, growing up in his pastor-father's home in Illinois and Indiana. He has attended Central Baptist College in Conway, AR; Texarkana College/East Texas State University in Texarkana, TX; University of Arkansas-Little Rock; and specialized schools from the University of Arkansas system and Arkansas State University system. He has served churches in Arkansas, Texas and Tennessee. He was ordained to the gospel ministry by Berean Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.

Bro. Phill joined the staff of then-Olivet Baptist Church in 1992 as a bi-vocational music minister. After suffering a stroke in 1998, he retired from the Little Rock Police Department in 2000; he is still employed there as a civilian employee. Bro. Phill serves as our Minister of Media.

He has been married to the former Orajean Tollett since 1970; they have two married daughters and five grandchildren.
